This year, we are looking for:
(a) Associate Editors: You will be assisting with the creation of our issues. This includes reading submissions, discussing submissions with other members of the editorial team, doing editing, and co-ordinating with authors. Associate editors need to be able to engage with readings and communicate well with the team.
(b) Assistant Treasurer: You will shadow our Treasurer and help collect, check and vet receipts submitted through email. You will also assist in entering expenses in the 2023-24 Accounting Spreadsheet, email the TCM treasurer the receipts and reimbursement details, and alert the Treasurer that reimbursements are ready to be requested. Finally, you are responsible for keeping copies of all receipts, and records of all expenses and reimbursements, for auditing purposes.
(c) Assistant Design Editor: You will shadow our Design Editor and help oversee the digital creation and refinement of our issues alongside our editorial board. Experience with Adobe InDesign, or similar digital design applications is preferred (but not required). Please feel free to include a portfolio if you would like!
(d) Events Coordinator: Beginning last year we have been running creative writing events for the Trinity community which include fun writing activities and a comfortable space for people to discuss personal writing projects. We are looking for someone interested in organizing similar events this year. No experience with event managing is necessary, just a passion for creative writing and fun ideas for what events could entail.
